MONTROSE is an international development project management and consultancy company providing support to clients operating in the developing world. Specialised in the sectors of health, education, rural livelihoods and private sector development, our clients include bilateral and multilateral development agencies, the private sector, Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and other development stakeholders. Montrose's Asia-Pacific Office, based in Yangon, are seeking to expand our network of high-quality consultants for upcoming projects in Myanmar.
We are specifically seeking individuals with expertise in Health Systems Strengthening (HSS) and Health Service Delivery (HSD), particularly:
- Governance in health
- Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) and health information systems
- Health financing/budgeting
- Health infrastructure/supply chain
Requirements:
Relevant undergraduate (essential) or post graduate (preferred) degree
A minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in HSS/HSD programmes
Experience working in relevant technical fields in Myanmar– ideally working alongside government ministries of health
Experience of working in fragile/conflict affected settings
Full working proficiency in English along with excellent writing and presentation skills (some knowledge of Myanmar language desirable)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to work as part of a multi-cultural team
Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative with minimal supervision
